Parlay Calculation Formula

Combined Odds = Odds₁ × Odds₂ × Odds₃ × … × OddsN

Profit = Total Payout − Stake

Win Probability = (1÷Odds₁) × (1÷Odds₂) × … × (1÷OddsN) × 100

Parlay Example

A 3-leg parlay with $100 stake:

  • Leg 1: Team A to win at 1.85
  • Leg 2: Over 2.5 goals at 2.10
  • Leg 3: Team B +1 at 1.70

Combined odds: 1.85 × 2.10 × 1.70 = 6.60 Total payout: $100 × 6.60 = $660 Profit: $660 − $100 = $560 Win probability: 15.1%

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a parlay payout calculated?
Combined odds = multiply all individual decimal odds together. Payout = Stake × Combined Odds. Example: 3 legs at 1.85 × 2.10 × 1.70 = 6.60 combined odds. $100 stake = $660 payout, $560 profit.
How many legs can I add to a parlay?
Technically unlimited, but most sportsbooks cap parlays at 10–15 legs. Our calculator supports up to 12 legs. Remember: each additional leg multiplies your odds but also significantly reduces your win probability.
Does a parlay include the stake in the payout?
Yes. The payout figure includes your original stake returned. So if payout is $660 and you staked $100, your profit is $560. Our calculator shows both figures separately.
What is the win probability of a parlay?
Win probability = multiply (1 ÷ odds) for each leg. Example: 1.85 (54.1%) × 2.10 (47.6%) × 1.70 (58.8%) = 15.1% win probability. A 3-leg parlay wins roughly 1 in 7 times at these odds.
Should I use decimal or American odds for the parlay calculator?
Our parlay calculator uses decimal odds. If you have American odds, use the Odds Converter first to convert them to decimal. Decimal odds make parlay math straightforward — just multiply all the odds together.
